HUMAN CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
| HUMAN CIRCULATORY SYSTEM Human beings are multicellular organisms with complex body structure. Most of the cells in the human body are not in direct contact with the external environment. The various substances such as digested food, gases, hormones and excretory products have to be transported from one part of the body to the other for carrying out various metabolic activities. The system, which is responsible for transporting these substances, is known as the circulatory system. Two fluids move through the circulatory system i.e blood and lymph. The Blood, heart and the blood vessels form the cardiovascular system. The lymph, the lymph nodes and the lymph vessels form the lymphatic system. These two systems collectively make up the Circulatory System. DLDAV Model School, Pitam Pura |
